Tulipa ‘Purissima’

Beautiful back-lit tulips – Tulipa Purissima – a real favourite of mine. The flowers start a creamy white, then open up to pure white so fully, they reflex back on themselves with each petal finally falling off as a wide and perfect shape.  Great from beginning to end!  Dramatically shown here with dark-leavedPhormium Bronze Baby in the background.  Photo taken 13 April 2010
